The idea
Frank Lloyd Wright for your living room — with a cat curled into the floor plan.
Snute started as a sketch for a single, continuous line that could hold a drink,
keep a book within reach, and quietly honour your cat’s instinct to tuck into sunlit corners.
It’s furniture that respects sightlines and small footprints as much as it respects your pet.
Think of Snute as an everyday elevation: warm wood, generous radius corners,
and horizontal lines that echo classic prairie-style architecture — scaled to the intimacy
of a city apartment.
For narrow living rooms
The side table hugs your sofa arm, opening to the room instead of blocking it. The integrated bed makes use of the quiet negative space you already have.
For calm routines
Your evening ritual: book or laptop on top; cat nested below in a plush, removable cushion. Everyone has their place — in one elegant object.
For long-term living
Crafted in Baltic birch ply with exposed laminations and a satin clear finish. Built to patina gently alongside the rest of your home.

Each Snute is cut with CNC precision, then finished by hand. The removable cushion is sized for most small to medium cats and can be replaced with any similarly sized pet bed if you have a favourite fabric.

Will my cat actually use it?

Most cats naturally gravitate toward protected edges and warm, contained spaces.
Snute’s lower den is shaped like a shallow nook with just enough enclosure, while the mid-level
lets curious cats keep an eye on everything without being in the way.
How much weight can the table hold?

The top is engineered for everyday living — think books, magazines, a laptop, or a lamp.
We don’t recommend sitting or standing on Snute, but it’s built to comfortably hold typical
side-table objects plus the weight of your cat on the middle level.
Is the cushion washable or replaceable?

Yes. The cushion removes easily for spot cleaning.
You can also swap it entirely for any small pet bed of similar dimensions
if you prefer a specific fabric or colour.
How does shipping & assembly work?

Snute ships as a mostly assembled piece with a short, satisfying final assembly step
(you’ll join the top and base with provided hardware). All tools are included.
The flat-packed approach keeps shipping more sustainable and affordable.
What if I have a dog too?

Many small dogs love the lower den as much as cats do.
For larger dogs, Snute becomes a beautiful side table that also quietly belongs to your cat —
a vertical territory divider in a compact home.
